Meet J490: Apple’s Smart-Home Tablet Coming in 2025

Apple is working on a new project AI-powered wall tablet , called J490 , expected to launch date is March 2025 . It’s basically a central hub for your smart home—letting you control devices, hop on FaceTime calls, and ask Siri for help, all with just your voice. It’s similar to Amazon’s Echo Show 8 and Google’s Nest Hub but with a sleek 6-inch screen and an interface inspired by the Apple Watch and iPhone StandBy mode. It’s designed to make managing your smart-home easier and more intuitive. The tablet will come in silver and black, with a standard version priced to compete with the Echo Show and Nest Hub Max .
